東北季風對於菊島居民來說，如同每年必到訪的老友，自古至今，居民已經學會和這位老友相處，甚至懂得教旅人細品追風的故事。
中屯風車 旋轉扇葉咻嗚響
雪白的中屯風車輝映藍天，站在風車底下仰望扇葉使勁轉動，澎湖招牌的東北季風在此成為當地人賴以維生的能源；冬季多了扇葉旋轉的咻嗚聲。看看儀表顯示當下每秒風速，一筆站長說，「看著數字跳動，總不由自主希望風再大點。」

跨海大橋 逆風飆車超搞笑
到跨海大橋「飆」風，可租輛小機車，催到100公里時速，但因季風阻礙，騎士頂多能飆到30~40公里，如此追風被風阻，像極了找自己麻煩，一票人總笑到不行。
小門鯨魚洞 惡浪二層樓高
想要感受惡劣的海浪，小門鯨魚洞可能出現高達3~4公尺甚至兩層樓高的浪濤，這種奇景只有冬季來的旅人獨享。
隘門沙灘 人和風的拔河戰場
被形容是「澎湖愚公移山」的隘門沙灘，每到冬季就成了老村長和東北季風的拔河戰場。
由於東北季風每年總是從隘門沙灘「偷」走沙子，李天育老村長頂著刺骨寒風，獨自以木桿和破落的漁網搭起了攔沙網，隔年春夏交接時，老村長再將攔沙網上的沙子一一撢落，還給這塊沙灘；現在則多了當地熱心人士的協助。
石泉風車碼頭 看見素人藝術
沿著石泉風車碼頭，一根根廢鐵藝術、油桶搭築出澎湖素人藝術家陳扶氣的故事。近來他將新製風車沿著河堤立起，風車被風吹得軋軋響，是襯托夕陽霞光最好的樂音。
一筆站長形容，只有在冬季，你才能感受「這種孤單工作的影像，和風車獨舞風中的調性極接近」。
陳扶氣今年把停留在碼頭的3艘廢棄漁船，改造成「船屋民宿」。
