沙港鄉親陳宗銘遠赴東山島為古物尋根
保存沙港村廣聖殿古廟文物 花一千萬元興建１間民宿
︻記者莊惠惠報導︼旅居高雄的沙港鄉親陳宗銘去年初以３２萬３千元標下一整批沙港村廣聖殿古廟文物，後來為了保存這批文物，又花了一千萬元興建了１間民宿。陳宗銘甚至不惜千里跋涉，到大陸東山島為古物尋根；最後他不只為古物找到原作者朱水林，還意外外發現朱水林的兒孫已遷居台灣，他的孫子朱志憲目前在澎湖岸巡部隊服務。
沙港村廣聖殿興建於民國１８年，因年代久遠，丹青剝落，經村民決議，於民國９６年底拆除重建新廟，但因建新廟經費不足，廟方將拆下來的彩繪和木雕文物於９７月１月２６日公開拍賣，結果由旅居高雄市、經營漁業公司的沙港鄉親陳宗銘以３２萬３千元標得。
陳宗銘回憶說，當時祖宅古厝正在翻修，會去投標只是為了買下其中４堵木雕，供祖宅裝飾之用，但看到這批珍貴古物後，不忍見到家鄉文物流落異地，又經過地方文史工作者的一再鼓吹，才不顧一切標下來。
少小離家出外打拼、如今事業有成的陳宗銘說，﹁我是沙港人，別的廟我不管，但是沙港的文物只能留在沙港，不能被買走﹂。
公開標售的前１天，陳宗銘到廟中向神明許諾，得標後要把所有文物留在沙港，可能是這份熱誠的鄉土情感動了神明，開標當天降雨不斷，很多投標者臨時取消出席，結果陳宗銘順利得標。
但是買下之後，各種頭痛問題一一浮現，陳宗銘說，如果不能好好保存，這批古廟文物最後還是會化為烏有；如果蓋１間私人文物館，維護費用很高，而且後世子孫未必對文物有興趣。最後決定結合民宿與文物保存，一則讓住宿的房客認識澎湖宗教文化與宮廟建築特色，二則以民宿的收入維持陳列館的開銷。
陳宗銘表示，當初只標下木造文物，不含石造品，興建民宿期間，再向廟方洽購剩下的石造文物，竟然獲廟方慨然相借，條件只規定妥善保存，不得轉賣。
結果，他為了保存這批３２萬３千元的廟宇文物，又花了１千萬元興建了﹁印象．沙港﹂民宿，並已於７月２６日開張營業。
走進﹁印象．沙港﹂，１樓整個就是陳列館，包括廟門、橫樑、石柱、鑿花、斗拱等，擺設位置也是還原原廣聖殿的格局，還有專人為房客導覽，細說澎湖宮廟藝術的特色、老匠師的煙塵過往以及沙港村的人文情懷。
﹁印象．沙港﹂民宿走的是高品質路線，全部只有６間房間，由於經過精心的建築設計，每個房間都可看到夕陽從中屯的風車緩緩落下。民宿內的公共空間很大，住客可從事烤肉、品茗等各種休閒活動；從頂層陽台還可看到新建成的廣聖殿和周圍美麗的菜宅。
專門研究廟宇藝術的文史工作者王文良指出，這批古廟文物中最珍貴的是已故唐山師傅朱水林的木雕和國寶級大師陳壽彝的綵繪，堪稱是廟宇藝術的經典作品。
透過王文良的解說，原本從事漁業的陳宗銘從此跟古廟文物結下不解之緣，他想進一步瞭解這批文物的原作者。經過一連串的考證和追尋，確定彩繪部份是由曾獲１９９４年國家民族藝術薪傳獎的陳壽彝於民國６８年所繪製，其中最具代表性的是他繪製的４面門神，並經過他本人證實。
但是追尋朱水林的過程就沒有那麼順利，由於文史資料把朱水林誤記為﹁陳水林﹂，很多接受訪查的老師傅只記得﹁水林師﹂於民國１２年左右從東山島至澎湖參與天后宮重建工程，也在廣聖殿留下很多珍貴木雕作品，但不知其姓。
陳宗銘說，由於誤為﹁陳水林﹂，整個尋根過程幾乎中斷，所幸後來託人在東山島實地查訪後得知，東山地區過去雖無陳水林其人，但有個朱水林很可能就是水林師。陳宗銘於是揹起行囊，於今年７月１６日跨海至東山島一探究竟。
在東山島停留的６天期間，陳宗銘積極尋訪水林師的故居和親友，還找到他的墓，證實朱水林已於１９４０年過世，距離１８９４年出生，只活了４７歲。現在東山人多已不知朱水林其人其事了，陳宗銘只找到其妻子的幾個遠親；有人指出，東山關帝廟保留了水林師的作品，但陳宗銘前往履查，發現關帝廟已重修，廟內建築都是新的。
不過令人興奮的是，陳宗銘循線查出，水林師的兒子朱福全於民國３８年前後從東山遷居至台灣，住在雲林縣；更巧的是，水林師的孫子朱志憲目前在澎湖岸巡單位機動查緝隊任職。
朱志憲說，父親已過世，過去不曾聽父母說過祖父的事，也不知道祖父留下作品在澎湖；經陳宗銘聯絡後，他到﹁印象．沙港﹂觀賞了祖父精美的木雕作品後，對於這樣１段曲折過程著實感到造化弄人，驚訝不已。聽到說，澎湖天后宮內現在還有朱水林的作品，朱志憲說，一定要去看看。
由於朱水林參與廣聖殿興建工程的年代早在８０年前，現在沙港村民中只有高齡９０歲的陳保壯見過朱水林。陳保壯回憶說，當年朱水林完成一付橫堵鑿花後曾自豪地告訴他，﹁不可能在其他地方再找到這麼好的作品了﹂；這件水林師的最得意作品現在就放在﹁印象．沙港﹂民宿進門的最顯眼處。
