陪一座島嶼看海
如果生命歷程真的是一個個過站的銜接，而這些站台老早就在遠處候著我們，我想這兩年來迎接我的驛站便是一片海洋，它有個名字，叫做澎湖。從PTT澎湖板到「沿著菊島旅行」網站，這片海洋無垠地困固著我，不論我如何奮身划躍，接駁我的仍是一艘艘叫做鄉愁的舟子。
兩年來，在PTT澎湖板，或近期架設網站著魔似地投入，在許多人的眼中我是個難以理解的浪漫主義者，或更露骨地說，是個盲目的鄉愁者。「做這一切對你有什麼好處？」，這樣一個簡潔的問題我總是詞窮以對，然則我卻堅信不想力辯的情感往往蘊含著更高貴的本質。
『沿著菊島旅行』網站面世的這一刻，第一次有疲累的傷感，「未老莫還鄉，還鄉需斷腸」，或許兩年來我不自覺地讓靈魂歸鄉，用太多的時間去意識島上過往記憶的幻化，面對蛻變的澎湖，意識到自己其實也跟大多數人一樣賣弄著廉價的悲劇美感。夏季，回到村子的港邊來回地晃著，我想從跳港的頑童中認出自己的面孔，然而港如空盪，沒有小孩在跳港，也沒有了過去的我。面對時間的流逝，每個人都必須付出懷舊感傷的代價，只是或許我來得早。
澎湖正在蛻變，生活形態與文化，消費行為與島民的價值體系都在蛻變，同樣的澎湖旅遊文化也需要蛻變，需要深度的、度假型態的、風土民情體驗的、需要更質感的旅遊內涵。然而眼下澎湖旅遊生態是叫人徬徨與焦慮的，如此的焦慮不正是因為澎湖如此地美，又如此地曖曖飽含著魅力。
為了這個焦慮，於是有了『沿著菊島旅行』網站。這是一個帶你和菊島對話的網站，從沙灘從港口，更從每一個島民與每一間古厝的故事說起。上菊島的癮，無從戒除。引述三島由紀夫在金閣寺中的一段話：「我與金閣寺並存於世界的幻想 ，如今也破滅了，我心中的美仍屹立在那裡，莊嚴神聖，令人不敢仰視。今生今世 ,千秋不渝。」不論澎湖未來向何方靠攏，願以「沿著菊島旅行」網站，為這百座島嶼的過往今來記錄，亦為所有的遊客深植這屹立不搖的菊島之美。
