- 簡介：北極殿前身為一座土地公廟，始建於何時無從稽考、祇因規模狹小、廟貌不揚不足以昭誠敬於光緒八年歲次壬午由社中有志人士、提議改建、擴大規模略具廟宇格局，改名為北極殿供奉玄天上帝為主神後，因年久失修榱桶腐塌棟宇傾圯、民國五十四年再度翻修、但仍感格局狹小、不堪為棲神之所、社中人士、有感於再擴建之需要，曾於民國六十八年重修一次，民國九十五年因廟堂年久失修，瓦裂椽朽、樑傾璧頹，在值年鄉老倡議下拆除重建，耗資二千萬元，歷時年餘完成，廟堂巍峨。
