2009年澎湖花火節施放特色
- 重要更新：
- 5月16日施放地點異動為白沙鄉赤崁村，5月30閉幕施放地點異動為湖西鄉龍門村
- 2009年澎湖花火節擴大施放範圍至觀音亭雙海堤，屆時花火同步打上去時，花火施放寬度將達300公尺，非常壯觀為歷年之最！
- 5月2日開幕重頭戲：施放九百秒的花火（預估7000顆花火施放）
- 階段一：732秒/火樹銀花群花爭放/相覷爭豔享樂菊島/親暉五月真愛雙心/夏浪激情樂活澎湖
- 階段二：168秒：繁星祝福澎湖正GO/首次施放大風車花火以及GO字型花火
- 2009年澎湖花火節施放總數量：總數超過2萬顆！為2008年的兩倍！

- 看花火與參加夜釣小管的衝突性：
- 參加六點出港的夜釣小管，不論沙港出港或馬公出港都可以在海面上看到，不過是很小很小的花火囉！
- 參加歐船長夜釣小管九點半出港的，看完花火約8點50剛好趕過去沙港出海，如果會稍微晚到幾分鐘，可以打電話請歐船長等一下，才不會搭船變成送船
