- 這裡提到的神秘三石壁跟大家比較熟悉的大菓葉柱狀玄武岩其實是不同的地點，雖然都在大菓葉村，一般大家熟悉的大果葉柱狀玄武岩只需走菊之徑的西嶼賓海公路即可抵達，這裡所謂的神秘三石壁則必須繞道大果葉村山上，披荊斬棘篳路藍縷才可以發現神秘三石壁！因山路難免有顛撥，銀合歡與雜草蔓生，且無遮陽處的空曠山頭，不是一般遊客輕鬆逛點的好選擇，適合對玄武岩非常有興趣，想要飽覽大自然鬼斧神工鑿石魔力的遊客，即使板友有冒險的精神仍須注意安全，注意夏季防曬防蚊蠅以及防銀合歡枝葉的逆襲！
- 神秘三石壁或多或少跟盜採砂石有關係，意外讓玄武岩石壁現身，且三石壁底下形成的凹槽終年積水輝映石壁，也形成獨特的美感，加上長年受雨水及風蝕的結果，石壁上不但節理分明且色調很有層次，是觀賞柱狀玄武岩很好的地點！神秘三石壁算是六條秘徑中最神秘的一個點了！
