- 名稱：鎖港鎮風石塔
- 類型：信仰、建築
- 介紹：
- 金門風獅爺、澎湖石敢當都是屬於海島居民獨特發展出來的信仰圖騰，透過有形的信仰建築去克服對於地理氣候艱困情境的恐懼。澎湖土壤貧瘠不利農耕，冬季季風凶險侷限著討海，加上缺乏良好的地勢屏障，以風水的角度來說大部分的村落都有相似缺陷，因此如石敢當這類為了避邪止煞、可以擔綱保境安民的信仰圖騰，便在澎湖群島每個聚落燎原。
- 這其中發展成觀光旅遊景點的當屬鎖港鎮風石塔：鎖港地勢低平缺乏山勢屏障，冬季季風將鎖港的沙土不斷捲向西南的山水聚落，古有「鎖港減一粒山、山水多一片海」的俚語，鎖港人為了克服這種被鄰里所剋的風水缺陷，於是建造了鎮風石塔。顧名思義，鎮風石塔就是要鎮住強烈的東北季風。
- 鎖港鎮風石塔特別之處在於它的大，底座面積達到60平方公尺；在於它的高，高達14公尺；在於它的造型特殊，九層寶塔，原為七層，1962年改建時增為九層，九這個數目在中國文化裡頭象徵的就是帝王之尊。鎖港鎮風石塔的特異之處也在於它的配置：南（午塔）、北（子塔）各一塔，成雙成對。石塔以澎湖特有的玄武岩堆黏而成，塔座旁鋪設著紅磚，更顯出古拙之美。
- 附註：一般媒體跟網路報導都說鎖港鎮風石塔是全澎湖最大的石敢當，其實這是錯誤的說法，澎湖最高的石敢當應該是後寮的石敢當。

烏崁往鎖港的公路海岸，有美麗的潮間帶，不過這處好風水已經被納骨塔捷足先登 - 適合遊客類型：老少咸宜

- 鎖港海邊有一條小路可以直達山水沙灘，沿途海岸礁岩是當地釣客喜歡的釣場，如果你是高竿釣客，可以前來鎖港從事磯釣。
- 鎖港碼頭下午三點過後會有漁船紛紛入港，很多魚販會聚集在此整批購買魚貨，遊客也可以來此搶購便宜新鮮剛入港的海鮮，回到住宿點請住宿老闆或拿去海鮮餐廳請廚房料理
- 鎖港北極殿前漁港潮間帶可於退潮時前來設網籠抓螃蟹，PTT澎湖板第一次板聚就是在鎖港夜抓螃蟹。
- 澎湖元宵固有的乞龜活動，原本金龜的龜王是山水上帝廟保持的，這兩年已經被鎖港北極殿超過260兩重的金龜給掄元，元宵節可以前來熱鬧一下。
- 鎖港北極殿目前正興建的真武大帝巨型石像，未來完工後會成為鎮風石塔以外的新地標。
氣勢非凡的紫微宮真武大帝 - 鎖港內有澎南圖書館，遊客可以利用作為中午避暑之用。

南環之旅上可以做為中午休息躲太陽地方的澎南圖書館
- 鎖港以前甚多漁船從事捕撈小管，現在仍然有小管加工廠，於是先民稱呼這個聚落為小管(台語發音)，後來政府取諧音"鎖港"為名。站長小時候年幼無知，不知鎖港的存在，每次聽長輩提到鎖港(台語)，我都以為是在說香港。
- 鎖港聚落規模可以算是澎南地區之首，所以社區內生活機能是澎南地區最完善的，包括7-11、好彩頭超市、鎖港派出所、澎南圖書館等等均散佈在鎖港村內
