澎湖群島四面環海，與台灣本島間的交通運輸只得仰賴航空及海運。航空交通方面，澎湖地區以馬公機場為主，另有七美、望安兩座機場，由遠東、立榮、復興、華信、德安等五家航空公司進駐，每日安排固定班次，分別由台北、台中、嘉義、台南、高雄往返澎湖地區。春節或觀光旺季期間會視旅客需求量加開班次。
